I’ve got the whole day planned for you so that you can have a special (and LOW-PREP) Twos-Day! Here’s how we’re celebrating!

Twos Day Activities – Morning Work

I have a couple different morning work activities in my Twos-Day Freebie Pack! The first is just a coloring page where students write the Date. The other has a couple different activities. They write the date, they count by 2s and fill in missing numbers, and also match words to make compound words!

Twos-Day Writing

For our writing activity, students will brainstorm their life at 22! They will write and draw about what they will look like, where they’ll live, their job, and what they like to do!

2s-Day Math

For our Twos-Day Math, we are going to review our doubles facts! We’ll watch some Doubles Fact Videos. Then, I have a few different activities that students will complete in centers. If you want to read more about our math center routine, check out this blog post!

Twos Day Activities Reading

We are focusing on Vowel TEAMS for Twos-Day, specifically Vowel Teams with TWO letters working together to make one sound!

Students will play this Spin a Vowel Team Game!

I also have a fun Twos-Day word search for students to work on in teams of TWO at the end of the day!

Other FUN Twos Day Ideas:

  • Play partner board games (checkers, tic tac toe)
  • Brain break exercises (22 jumping jacks, 22 arm circles, 22 lunges etc.)
  • Read for 22 minutes
  • Chew Double Bubble while doing your activities!
